Date

8/08/2011

Status

Details

This work is being performed to resolve an IP SLA responder issue.  The hardware vendor has recommended reloading the chassis.  To minimize end site impact, a controlled route processor reset and associated switchovers will first be performed.  A full chassis reload will take place if necessary.

CR-2616 will be implemented on Saturday, August 6, 2011   2:00 AM Central to 5:00 AM Central

End sites homed to NSHPE4 may experience two service interruptions of up to 2 minutes each, for a total of 4 minutes, during the route processor switchovers.

If a router reload is required, end sites homed to NSHPE4 will experience an additional interruption of up to 20 minutes as the router reload is performed.

Total end site impact should not exceed 24 minutes.

Every effort will be made to minimize downtime as work is performed.
